Effectiveness and safety of acupuncture for patients with atopic eczema

A latest systemic review of randomized clinical trials on effects of acupuncture on atopic eczema found that acupuncture is better than no treatment at reducing itch intensity in patients with atopic eczema. Results of 6 randomized clinical trials show that acupuncture is better than conventional medicine at reducing the eczema area and severity index (EASI). Results of 7 clinical trials show that acupuncture is better than conventional medicine in global symptom improvement.
